Knowledge of sea terms and parts of a boat; her rigging & sails; sail handling; ropework; fire precautions & firefighting; personal safety equipment; Man Over Board; emergency equipment; meteorology; helmsmanship; general duties; rules of the road; use of dinghies
Ability after course
Able to steer a yacht under sail & power; handle sails; keep a proper lookout; row a dinghy; assist in all day to day routines; be a valuable member of any crew.
